The planned growth of Gregory Hills is being supported by major infrastructure improvements that are being carried out in a phased manner. One of the biggest accomplishments is the construction of Leppington Rail Station, which is located a short distance from the estate. The 40-minute train ride from Leppington Rail Station to the city cuts commuting time drastically for Gregory Hills residents.

Opened in February 2015, future plans include integrating the station into the broader Sydney Trains network. Another massive undertaking which is now complete is the widening of the M5 motorway. The upgraded M5 has a lane added in each direction, easing congestion and reducing travel times for motorists on one of the busiest roads in the region.
